Vietnamese Nguyen Nroc Mi Kim, 49, spoke about her unique experience as she has not slept for thirty years.

This habit began at an early age when Nguyen would spend her nights reading books until late at night, and it developed into a habit that she continued when she became a seamstress.

Nguyen told her story, explaining that she used to work every night until dawn to finish orders, driven by her fear of not being able to complete her work if she slept, and over time, she got used to this life to the point that she completely lost the need for sleep.

This exceptional behavior of Nguyen has aroused the curiosity of many in her local community and on social media, where people have started to visit her to verify the veracity of her story.

Nguyen confirms that this lifestyle has not negatively affected her health so far, which makes her condition a subject of study and scientific curiosity.

On the medical level, there are very rare cases of people who do not sleep due to exceptional medical conditions. The most prominent of these cases is what is known as “Fatal Familial Insomnia,” which is a very rare genetic disorder that causes severe insomnia that eventually leads to death. This disease affects the brain and prevents the affected person from sleeping, and the health of the affected person gradually deteriorates over time.
