Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed with the Director of the Sudanese Intelligence Service, Ahmed Ibrahim Fadl, the military and political situation in and around Sudan.
“During the meeting, current issues related to the further development of traditional friendly relations between Russia and Sudan were discussed, in light of the existing military-political situation in and around Sudan,” a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
It is noteworthy that the director of the Sudanese intelligence service is visiting Russia to participate in the twelfth international meeting of high-level representatives responsible for security issues.
The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that the meeting was held at the initiative of the Sudanese side, stressing the commitment of the two countries to strengthen cooperation and coordination in matters of common interest.
