Belkacem Haftar, Director General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund and Executive Director of the Reconstruction Fund for Derna and the affected cities and regions, met with all security services in the city of Derna.
According to a statement by the Reconstruction Fund for Derna and the affected cities and regions, the Commander of the Derna Military Region, Lieutenant General Abdul Basset Abu Gris, participated in the meeting.
The statement explained that the meeting came to determine the locations of police stations and security headquarters damaged by Hurricane Daniel, to direct the operating companies to begin their complete reconstruction and development.
This meeting comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the infrastructure in Derna and other affected areas, and to ensure that normal life returns to these areas as quickly as possible, with a focus on modernizing and developing security facilities to ensure the stability and security of the region.
