Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that the process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Egypt has been largely completed, noting that the two sides have benefited from this and that the two countries have historical relations.

Hakan stressed the importance of strengthening relations and cooperation between Turkey and Egypt, especially in Africa, for its positive repercussions on policies in Libya and the region, adding that Ankara has serious cooperation with Egypt regarding Mediterranean security, and that the issue of Sudan and Ethiopia with Egypt and the issue of energy are issues that need to be studied.

He added that Ankara and Cairo have an agreement that Turkey will provide drones and other technologies to the Egyptian side, and there are many Turkish investors in Egypt who see the Egyptian environment as very suitable for them and that Turkey has a desire to increase investments there.
