The Turkish government announced the arrest of 36 people suspected of links to ISIS, and the security operations included four different regions.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya explained that the detained individuals were actively working within the ranks of the group, playing a role in financing it, and providing it with the necessary supplies.
As part of these security operations, police also confiscated an arsenal of unlicensed weapons, including rifles and pistols, Kaya said.

At the end of last month, Kaya announced that security services had arrested 51 people on suspicion of links to the Islamic State terror group.
