Tunisian artist Nermin Safar filed accusations against the son of a late Egyptian artist, claiming that she was subjected to an attempted rape and assault with a knife.
The artist Safar posted on her official Facebook account that the incident took place in the city of Qasr Said in Tunisia, confirming that the accused, the son of the late Egyptian actor known by the initials “A.D.”, tried to lure her at gunpoint.
Safar explained that the accused is exploiting the name of his late father to achieve his goals, and that the damage she suffered was limited thanks to the intervention of fate.
Safar also referred to previous conversations between her and the accused, claiming that she had helped him financially and morally in the past at the request of his father.
The Tunisian artist, who resorted to the judiciary, expressed her confidence in achieving justice and holding the accused accountable, and thanked her lawyer for his support and assistance in this case.
