Yuri Gorlach, the Director of the Crisis Center at the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that the Russian Ministry of Emergencies evacuated from the Gaza Strip, in addition to Russian citizens, many citizens of foreign countries.
The Russian diplomat said in a press conference that, so far, 1125 people have been evacuated through the Rafah border crossing and have arrived in Russia aboard planes belonging to the Russian Ministry of Emergencies.
He revealed that “among them, there are 644 individuals from the Russian Federation citizens and 473 Palestinians from the families of Russian citizens. We were also able to evacuate citizens from Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Sweden, and Morocco.”
