Russian Ambassador to Libya Haidar Aganin held a meeting in Tripoli with the Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, Colonel Mohamed Al-Haddad, to discuss joint military cooperation.
Discussions during the meeting, with the participation of the Russian military attaché, included many issues, the most important of which is strengthening military cooperation between Russia and Libya.
The meeting also dealt with ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries towards broader horizons to serve the common interests of both.
Agnin explained to Haddad the official Russian position on the objectives and tasks of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.
