The Nigerian Air Force conducted a joint operation with the 17th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their headquarters located in the Tora Hills in the Nigerian state of Katsina.
According to Nigerian Air Force spokesman Edward Jabkweet, an airstrike was initially carried out on the terrorists’ headquarters, and then ground forces attacked the terrorist groups on the ground.
The operation gave ground forces the opportunity to take control of the Tora Hills, which served as a hideout for terrorists.
