Libyan Foreign Minister Abdelhadi al-Hawij discussed with Moroccan consul Said Benkirane ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, which took place in Benghazi, Al-Huwaij stressed the importance of accelerating the process of opening air and sea routes between the two countries, in addition to starting granting entry visas to Libyans for study and work purposes, in order to promote cultural and economic exchange
The discussion also focused on Libya benefiting from Moroccan expertise in the fields of training and employment, and the return of Moroccan companies to work in Libya, especially in the various fields of construction, coinciding with the urban renaissance taking place in the country.
For his part, Al-Hawij welcomed the presence of the Moroccan consulate in Benghazi, praising the strong historical relations between the two countries, and affirming the Kingdom of Morocco’s support for Libyan efforts towards a peaceful settlement and sustainable development.
