Another source of leaks about problems with the production of “Boeing” planes has died on Thursday after he suddenly fell ill and died.
The Seattle Times said the leaker, identified as Joshua Dean, was a quality auditor at Boeing AeroSystems, a supplier to Boeing, and died after a sudden illness.
Dean was 45 years old and living in Kansas and did not complain of the disease but became in critical condition for the last two weeks before his death.
Dean complained to U.S. aviation regulators about the Spirit 737 product line, and also testified in a lawsuit against the company’s shareholders.
Dean was hospitalized with breathing problems, diagnosed with a bacterial infection, and then organ failure.
On March 12, former “Boeing” quality control engineer John Barnett, who reported problems assembling aircraft, was found dead in his car days after testifying in a lawsuit against the company.
Police said the cause of death was identified as a wound “inflicted by Barnett himself” and the incident was still under investigation.
