After more than 40 days of searching, Egyptian security services found the body of the young Saudi man, Hattan Shata, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in Cairo on April 22.
Official sources confirmed that the Egyptian authorities found the body of Hattan Shata in a street in Cairo, and it was later examined to determine the cause of death, as the results of the medical examination showed that the death was natural, and there was no criminal suspicion in the case.
Surveillance cameras recorded the last appearance of Hattan Shata before his disappearance, as they spotted him near a passenger bus in the Fifth Settlement area in Cairo, where he was looking for a new apartment in the 6th of October area to move to before his disappearance.
The Egyptian security services worked to search for Hattan Al-Shatta, and their operations included reviewing surveillance cameras in the vicinity of his disappearance, searching nearby cities, and disseminating his data and picture widely.
The Saudi Embassy in Cairo also communicated with the Egyptian authorities on an ongoing basis to follow up on search operations and provide the necessary support to Hattan’s family.
Hattan Shata is 40 years old, married with a daughter, and traveled to Egypt with the aim of studying and developing his expertise in the field of training consultations.
The news of the discovery of Hattan Shatta’s body received widespread sympathy on social media, and many people expressed their sadness over the loss of Hattan and offered their condolences to his family.
