Algerian Ambassador Rachid Belbaki expressed his country’s aspiration to deepen relations with Lebanon, stressing the importance of the historical and brotherly ties that unite the two countries.
- During his meeting with the head of the Lebanese economic bodies, Mohammed Choucair, the ambassador stressed the need to invest these ties in the development of bilateral economic relations.
Belbaki expressed his pleasure to start his duties in Lebanon, expressing his desire to “establish constructive cooperation, and his country’s readiness to do everything necessary to achieve the desired goals and develop relations with the sisterly State of Lebanon.”
During his visit to Sidon and his meeting with its various references, the ambassador noted Algeria’s keenness to develop and strengthen relations with Lebanon and to seek to modernize its investment legislation.
He stressed that Algeria considers Lebanese investors as partners in economic growth, and that they are invited to take advantage of the promising investment opportunities in Algeria.
The Algerian Ambassador made a number of visits to several political figures and institutions in Sidon, including the Chamber of Commerce and the municipality.
