Sudanese seaport workers in the Red Sea announced their complete rejection of the decisions of Sudanese Finance Minister Jibril Ibrahim and threatened a comprehensive closure of the ports.

On Sunday, the workers organized a new protest against the decisions of the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning that some departments should follow the center instead of the ports, declaring their rejection of them, and to denounce the corruption of the government of army commander Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, in light of the deterioration of security and living conditions due to the repercussions of the Sudanese war.

The Committee of the Sea Ports Authority handed over a memorandum to the Governor of the Red Sea, Mustafa Mohamed Nour, against the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the amendment of the regulations of seaports by the Minister of Finance.

The memorandum called for freezing decisions towards the Sea Ports Authority and forming a committee to draft a law on ports with full independence.
