The Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdelhamid Dabaiba, discussed at his residence in the Italian capital, Rome, with Chadian Foreign Minister Mohamed Saleh Al-Nazif, five main files, including aspects of cooperation between Libya and Chad.
They also discussed the situation in Sudan and Niger and ways to unify efforts in these two files, as well as the return of the Community of Sahelo-Saharan States to its original headquarters in the capital Tripoli after working for more than a decade in the Chadian capital N’Djamena, according to a statement issued by the official “governmentna” platform.
The meeting between Dabaiba and Al-Nazif touched on the situation of Libyan investments in Chad and how to provide the necessary facilities to continue their tasks in positive circumstances.
Dabaiba arrived in Rome to participate in the Italian-African summit, which is scheduled to address some issues affecting the African continent and Europe as well, such as climate change, food security, migration, and the energy transition.
