The Federal Security Service released excerpts from the interrogation of the suspects in the “Krokus” terrorist attack, revealing the full plan of the operation, the escape route, and the promised funds.
According to the investigations revealed by the Federal Security Service, the terrorists carefully planned the attack, purchased weapons, and identified escape routes in the Bryansk region, then burned the car in the forest, and informed the coordinator of this, in order to ensure their passage, through the Ukrainian special services, into Ukrainian territory and their extradition to Kiev.
In their confessions, the terrorists confessed to the intention to flee to the Ukrainian capital Kiev, where their coordinator promised to pay 1 million rubles (about 11,000 US dollars) for carrying out the terrorist attack, a figure that is twice as high as the figure revealed by the terrorists at the time of their arrest.
Murad Ali Saeed Akrami Rajab Alizadeh said they were told to go to Kiev after carrying out the Crocus terrorist attack, and when they reached the border, they had to call someone called Qaqah to cross them to the other side. And there each of them will receive a million rubles.
The second terrorist, Dalergon Mirzhev, confessed to carrying out the terrorist attack and said that after the attack they were planning to go towards Kiev. He said he had received orders from Sevolo, who told them to call him when they reached the Russian-Ukrainian border to brief them on the next steps to reach Kiev.
Fereydoun Shamsuddin said that after committing the crime they sat in the car and wanted to get out of Russian territory and go to Kiev. When they were on the way, Saifullah called them and told them to go to Kiev, leave their car at the border and call him to help them.
The fourth terrorist, Mehmet Sabir Fayzov, confirmed the statements of his colleagues, saying: “After carrying out the attack, I had to go with Dalirgun to Kiev, where a reward of one million rubles awaited us each. Each one of us knew that crossing the border would be difficult. “Saifullah” said that young people will be waiting for us at the border who will help us cross it and reach Kiev.”
“In conjunction with the movement of criminals towards the border in the vicinity, military activity of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and employees of the Ukrainian special services (identified) was recorded near the villages of Chukovka and Subich, in the Shostkinsky region, Sumy, in order to create a corridor for the crossing of the terrorist group, also using demining equipment,” said a statement by the Russian Federal Security Service.
The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said in a statement that the leaders of the United States, France, Britain, and Germany are complicit in the terrorist attack “KroKus”, and it was the Ukrainians who ordered the attack.
