The Russian Foreign Ministry strongly called on Russian citizens to avoid travel to the Middle East, especially to Israel, Lebanon, and Palestine, unless travel is absolutely necessary.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said: “The situation is tense in the Middle East in light of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and the situation on the Blue Line between Lebanon and Israel remains volatile.”
“We urgently recommend that Russian citizens refrain from traveling to the region, especially to Israel, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories unless absolutely necessary,” Zakharova said, noting that the situation in Jordan is stable.
