The U.S. Embassy in Libya announced the participation of a delegation of military officials from across Libya in the African Land Forces Summit, held last week in Zambia.

The number of representatives at the important summit reached 750 people, representing various countries of the African continent and their international partners.

The U.S. embassy said it supports Libyan efforts toward unifying military institutions.

The summit was co-hosted by the U.S. Army’s Southern European Africa Force and the Zambian Army.
