The Interior Ministry of the Libyan Government of National Unity announced that it has succeeded in arresting a person suspected of involvement in the crime of counterfeiting cash in the Tajoura region.
In a statement through the media office, the ministry said that the February 25 police station of the Tajoura Security Directorate received a notification of an incident of counterfeiting a currency suspected of involving a Libyan person.
The Ministry explained that an investigation team consisting of investigation personnel was formed at the center to investigate the report, and the team quickly began investigation and search operations.
As a result of these efforts, the suspect was arrested and the necessary legal measures were taken against him, before being referred to the judiciary for further legal proceedings.
