Lawyer of Former Chief of Military Intelligence in the Gaddafi regime, Abdullah Al-Senussi, confirmed that the Tripoli Court of Appeal postponed his client’s trial session until February 5.
Al-Senussi’s defense team said in a press statement that the session was postponed due to client’s inability to go out of prison to the court.

Security authorities are accused of detaining Al-Senussi for this long deliberately making him miss the sentencing hearings, and the Attorney General was accused of being responsible for the public case and for implementing the court’s decision to bring Al-Senussi to the trial session.
Al-Senussi is facing several charges, including suppressing demonstrators during the revolution of February 17, 2011. He is also convicted of being behind the Abu Salim prison massacre that took place in 1996, when more than 1,200 people were killed.
