The Libyan Civil Aviation Authority agreed with the Turkish Aviation Authority to prepare a memorandum of understanding and expedite the implementation of its provisions as soon as possible, in preparation for the return of Turkish Airlines to operate flights to Libyan airports.

This came during the reception of the Minister of Transport in the Libyan Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, Turkish Ambassador to Libya Kanan Yilmaz and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Undersecretary for Air Transport Affairs Khaled Nasr Souissi, Head of the Civil Aviation Authority Abdul Rahman bin Youssef, and Director of the Technical Cooperation Office at the Ministry’s Diwan Adel Bakhit Ibrahim.

Al-Shahoubi welcomed the meetings that took place between the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority and the Turkish Aviation Authority, praising at the same time the depth of relations between the two countries through the ongoing cooperation in all fields.
