Former Egyptian national team player Ibrahim Saeed launched a harsh attack on the captain of the “Pharaohs” Mohamed Salah, accusing him of faking the recent muscle injury against Ghana.
Ibrahim Saeed, who represented the Egyptian national team in 53 previous matches, stated that Salah requested to be substituted before the medical staff revealed the injury to his hamstring.
He accused the star Mohammed Salah of considering himself more significant than the Egyptian national team and wanting to focus solely on his career with the English club Liverpool. He urged Salah to leave the national team if he does not own the same high spirit as his teammates.
The Egyptian national team suffered a painful blow when Salah left the field injured in the second minute of injury time in the first half (45+2) during the match against Ghana, in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations. Salah complained of pain in the hamstring of his left thigh, and was replaced by Mustafa Fathi.
