Egyptian air defenses spotted a flying object off territorial waters in the southern Sinai port city of Dahab and managed to shoot it down.
Al-Qahera News channel reported on Saturday, citing eyewitnesses, that “Egyptian air defenses spotted a flying object off the coast of the coastal city of Dahab “on the Gulf of Aqaba,” and immediately dealt with it and shot it down.”
She added, “The flying object fell about a kilometer and a half off the coast of Dahab.”
Egyptian investigation teams immediately went to the scene.
Last October, after the marching incidents in the Egyptian cities of Taba and Nuweiba, the Egyptian authorities announced the opening of investigations into the incidents of the shooting down of two unknown marches in areas of South Sinai, one of which was shot down in Nuweiba, and the other fell in Taba.
