The Chadian government announced in an official statement on Saturday that four Sudanese diplomats were persona non grata and ordered them to leave the country within 72 hours.
The government said in a statement that it took the move because of what it described as “dangerous statements” by Sudanese officials accusing it of interfering in the conflict in Sudan, according to Reuters.
On November 27, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Army and member of the Sovereignty Council, Yasser al-Atta, accused Chad of opening its airports to transport Emirati support with weapons and ammunition for the Rapid Support Forces.
