Presidential candidate Suleiman al-Bayoudi confirmed that Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh is in a difficult position, noting that he is the only one affected by the unification of the members of the Presidential Council.
This came in a post by Al-Bayoudi on his personal Facebook page, where he indicated that Dbeibeh is working in parallel with all the strength to preserve the President of the Council of State, Mohamed Tekala, in an attempt to restore his role in the political process.
Al-Bayoudi said that Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh “ended politically”, noting that his departure is possible and very soon, and that his stay in office during the last period was due to “other factors”.
Al-Bayoudi stressed the need for unity of power in Libya, stressing the importance of dealing with everyone to implement the long-awaited electoral process.
He pointed out that international recognition is the basis for the formation of any new authority in the country, stressing that there are no unilateral steps in this regard without the approval of international bodies.
