A young Algerian man shocked the city of Laghouat by committing a horrific crime that was documented, as he stabbed his married sister in the neck, during a live broadcast on Instagram.
The crime occurred in the “800 residential” neighborhood in the city of Laghouat, in the center of the country, at around 4:45 p.m. local time, according to what was reported by local media.
The knife remained stuck in the victim’s neck, who fell to the ground during the live broadcast, which led to a state of panic among the followers.
The crime was witnessed in the presence of the victim’s daughter, who began filming her mother lying in her blood on the ground in a hysterical state.
The victim, who is about 40 years old, was taken to the hospital in serious condition, Al-Nahar newspaper reported.
The crime sparked widespread dissatisfaction among Algerians on social media, who expressed their anger and shock at this heinous act.
Some questioned the veracity of the story, considering that the scene might just be an “acting” in order to attract views.
