The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Libya has launched new initiatives to promote green economy and develop skilled labor in the country.
The program emphasizes its collaboration with various international partners to preserve a more sustainable environment in Libya.
The program plays a leading role in implementing five key training programs aimed at creating a skilled workforce capable of working in green economy sectors. These programs have been implemented in close collaboration with the Libyan-Korean Center and relevant local authorities.
As part of these efforts, the program has collaborated with the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation of the Government of National Unity, benefiting from generous support provided by the Republic of Korea.
This cooperation aims to enhance capacities and develop necessary skills for Libyan youth, towards building a more sustainable and prosperous future for the country.
These efforts come within the framework of continuous endeavors to promote sustainable development in Libya and support efforts aimed at protecting the environment and natural resources, as well as enhancing sustainable economic growth and achieving a balance between economic, environmental, and social dimensions.
