The Moroccan art scene is preparing to welcome the icon of authentic singing, Umm Kulthum, in a series of concerts using hologram technology, following the great turnout and success of her previous concerts in the Kingdom.

The “Star of the East”, who visited Morocco for the first time in 1968, returns once again to dazzle her audience in Marrakech, Rabat, and Casablanca.

The “Work Event” Foundation for Animation is organizing these concerts, as it announced the concert dates and the start of digital ticket sales on social media platforms. The concerts are expected to witness a large turnout that reflects the continued passion of the Moroccan and Arab audience for Umm Kulthum’s art.

The concerts are expected to present a selection of Umm Kulthum’s most wonderful songs that still resonate widely in the Arab world, and this tour comes as confirmation of the late artist’s powerful influence and the ability of modern-day technologies to revive her artistic heritage in a manner befitting her legendary status.

Similar hologram concerts were held in Dubai, Egypt and Saudi Arabia in 2019. Hologram technology is an advanced technology that allows the display of three-dimensional images that appear real and visible from all angles without the need for special glasses. It is used in various fields such as entertainment, education and communications.
