Sources revealed that one of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack “Crocus” in Moscow, was linked to Tajik and Afghan ISIS in Turkey, and that Turkish security arrested 40 suspects after Russian security interrogated him.

The Russian agency “Sputnik” quoted its sources that “at the beginning of this year, the terrorist Fereydoun Shams al-Din went to Istanbul, which raised many questions among his friends, as he began to show signs of extremism after communicating with relatives from there, but he said that he visited Turkey with his friends and wants to work there.”

The Russian agency added that 40 people suspected of involvement in ISIS activity were arrested in Turkey based on information provided by Shamsuddin during his interrogation in Russia.

Terrorists stormed the Crocus center in Moscow on March 22, shortly before the start of a musical performance, shooting at the audience in the lobby of the building and in the concert hall itself at close range and throwing petrol bombs, resulting in dozens of victims and injuries, including women and children.
