Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur managed to stay in the top ten in the world ranking for professional female tennis players, securing the ninth position despite her early exit from the Rome Masters Championship.

Jabeur lost in the second round of the tournament to American Sofia Kenin, ranked fifty-eighth in the world, with a score of two sets to one (5-7, 6-4, 4-6).

The match was held last week and witnessed strong competition between the two players, and the result reflected the intensity of the competition and the efficiency of Jaber, who continues to represent the Arabs distinctively in international tournaments.

Ons Jabeur is a Tunisian professional tennis player who has achieved many achievements in her sports career, as she became in June 2011, the first Arab woman to win the Roland Garros tournament in the young women’s category and achieved the biggest title of her professional career by winning the Madrid tournament for a thousand points on clay courts in 2023.

Ons Jabeur reached two finals in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) competitions, one of which was in the Kremlin Cup 2018 in Russia. She also won her first title at the WTA level during the Birmingham Classic 2021.
