Tunisian Minister of Youth and Sports Kamel Dakish discussed, on Tuesday, with French Ambassador Anne Jouin, enhancing cooperation opportunities between the two countries in the fields of youth, sports, and physical education.

According to a statement issued by the Tunisian Ministry of Youth and Sports, the meeting dealt with bilateral cooperation files between Tunisia and France, with a focus on the need to promote physical activity within educational institutions at all levels, from primary education to secondary education.

This comes within the framework of the Education and Sports project, funded by France to attract, and develop sports talent in the 24 states, in coordination with the relevant government parties.

During the meeting, Dakish explained the ministry’s efforts to generalize the practice of sports activities as a way of life among all segments of society, especially women, and all age groups and in most regions of the country.
