Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has warned that there will be a “bloodshed” in the country if he does not win the presidential election scheduled for November.
Trump’s remarks came in a speech at a campaign rally in Ohio on Saturday in support of conservative Bernie Moreno ahead of Tuesday’s Republican Senate primary.
Trump told the crowd: “Now, if I’m not elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for everyone, and that’s the least that can happen. I announce that it will be a bloodbath for the country.”
“If I don’t win the election, I’m not sure there will be another election in the country,” Trump said in his speech.
In another context, Trump mocked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, calling him the best seller in history, earning tens of billions from America on every visit.
He criticized the U.S. aid package approved by lawmakers for Ukraine and said: “They say they will give us the money back, give them and lend them, lend them money don’t write a check for 60 billion.”
James Singer, spokesman for US President Joe Biden’s election campaign, said in a statement on Saturday that former President Donald Trump “wants another January 6.”
“The American people will give (Trump) another electoral defeat next November, because they continue to reject his extremism, his love of violence, and his thirst for revenge,” Singer said.
