In a sarcastic announcement by the former US president, Donald Trump said that Joe Biden “does not know that he himself is still alive”, mocking the US president’s slip of the tongue when he miscalled Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi as the president of Mexico.
Trump’s comment, the front-runner for the Republican presidential election, came in the latest in a series of criticisms of Biden, as the Democratic president’s team tried to defend his mental health.
Trump published through his social network “Truth Social” a false map of the Middle East, in which the name of Mexico replaced Egypt, and the tail of the map with the phrase “Source: Joe Biden”, in a position in which Trump mocks his rival Biden about his lack of knowledge of geography.
Biden’s lapses have been repeated in recent times and there has been much talk of his poor mental health amid calls for him to retire.
