The Libyan capital, Tripoli, responded to Western criticism that described it as one of the worst cities in the Global Livability Index by organizing a summer cultural festival entitled “City Nights.”
The festival features a wide range of local and international bands and artists, as it aims to highlight the city’s rich cultural and heritage aspects.
This event comes within the framework of the efforts of the Libyan authorities to improve the image of the capital and highlight its cultural and artistic activities, with the aim of enhancing community spirit and providing a unique experience for residents and visitors.
The organizers explained that the festival aims to emphasize Tripoli’s ability to host large cultural events, while focusing on the positive aspects of life in the city despite the challenges it faces.
