The southern city of Sabha witnessed a horrific crime after three girls shot dead their father in his sleep.
The Sebha Security Directorate said that the three girls confessed to killing their father and throwing his body into sewage channels to hide the crime, justifying this by trying to molest them.
The Security Directorate published a video clip showing the confessions of the three sisters with the details of the crime, and the distribution of roles among them to remove suspicions, as the first stole a gun from one of her friends, and after her reluctance to kill, her sister killed the father with two shots in the head during his sleep, and buried him at first under a tree, then transferred his body and threw it into the sewers.
According to the confessions of the third sister, she knew all the details of the crime before it occurred, but did not participate in it, stressing that she did not prevent them from committing the crime, but covered them up.
It is noteworthy that in the recent period, crime rates of all kinds have increased in Libya, which has sparked public concern and fear, amid calls for more strengthening security and activating deterrent penalties for criminals.
