3 earthquakes ranging in magnitude between 2.2 and 4.2 on the Richter scale struck 3 Arab countries during the early hours of Saturday, without reporting any damage or human losses.

An earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale struck northern Algeria at a depth of 2 kilometers, according to data published by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

The border area between Syria and Iraq also witnessed an earthquake measuring 2.2 on the Richter scale, at a depth of 6 kilometers.

The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center said on its website that the epicenter of an earthquake hit the border area between Syria and Iraq 106 kilometers west of Mosul al-Jadida in Iraq.

An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale hit the border area between Turkey and Iraq, 7 kilometers deep, 34 kilometers southeast of Hakkari, Turkey’s far southeast, and 90 kilometers northwest of the Iraqi city of Soran.
