The Wadi Asla region of the Bagaghza community in the Tetouan province in Morocco witnessed a horrific incident, where a person killed his wife and four children in circumstances that are still mysterious.
According to local sources, the father used a knife to kill his wife and children (two girls and two boys) before fleeing to an unknown destination, leaving their bodies soaked in blood.
Preliminary information indicates that the father was suffering from psychological disorders, which is likely the main reason behind him committing this heinous crime.
As soon as the authorities learned of the incident, members of the Royal Gendarmerie and a representative of the local authority moved to the scene of the accident to collect evidence that would assist in the investigations. The bodies of the victims were also transferred to the morgue based on the instructions of the competent Public Prosecution.
Judicial authorities continue to search and investigate to locate and arrest the suspect.
