The Egyptian Minister of Culture, Nevine Al-Kilani, opened the plastic art exhibition “Egypt has the world”, which is held in cooperation between the General Authority for Culture Palaces, headed by Amr Al-Bassiouni, and the plastic arts sector, headed by Dr. Walid Qanoush, and in the presence of a group of ambassadors of a number of countries.
The Egyptian Minister of Culture inspected the works participating in the exhibition, which highlighted a set of positive achievements and transformations witnessed by Egypt in light of Vision 2030 and the achievement of sustainable development goals in all fields in the new republic, and in a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, Al-Kilani said, “This exhibition represents a vital gathering during which the creations of a distinguished elite of plastic artists are fused, who have trusted with their works the renaissance and development that Egypt is witnessing in all areas of life,” stressing the importance of plastic arts in Forming the human personality and upgrading the conscience, explaining that the plastic movement represents a pivotal and authentic part of the Egyptian culture, with its diverse creative tributaries.
The Minister of Culture praised the high artistic level of the participating artworks, and the pluralism and diversity they embodied at the level of creative trends, and the extent of their ability to draw the distinguished features of the Egyptian personality, praising the existing cooperation efforts between the sectors of the Ministry of Culture to organize such creative forums, which represent in their content an inspiring model to enrich the Egyptian plastic movement.
The exhibition serves as an incubator platform for the works of “121 plastic artists” who are influential in the artistic movement in Egypt, who shared their artistic experiences and joint creative experiences that reflect the Egyptian identity, and express the challenges faced by the state to achieve the comprehensive development plan in the cultural, artistic and other fields, through the use of various techniques, materials and artistic methods.
