Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that Libya’s unity and the stability of its people are a priority for Turkey.
Erdogan’s remarks came during a meeting with the governor of the Central Bank of Libya, a great friend, at the Vahiddin Palace in Istanbul.
According to a statement issued by the Communication Department of the Turkish Presidency, Erdogan stressed that Turkey will continue to support efforts to achieve a sustainable and lasting political solution in Libya, stressing his country’s commitment to supporting the stability and unity of Libya.
The Turkish president pointed to the importance of cooperation between Ankara and Tripoli to achieve security and stability in the region, stressing Turkey’s desire to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and contribute to the reconstruction of Libya.
Al-Sadiq Al-Kabir discussed with Erdogan the role of the Central Bank in maintaining the financial sustainability of the state and increasing joint cooperation in the banking field.
