In a statement, the popular resistance in Sudan welcomed the statements of the President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council and the commander of the army, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, about arming the popular resistance in all states.
The popular resistance stressed its dedication to working to stop the violations of Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo’s foreign rebels and mercenaries “who sought corruption in the land of Sudan and destroyed the tillage and offspring”.
It called on all its battalions and heroes in the states to strengthen coordination with the commanders of the military regions and cooperation with the divisions of the armed forces, stressing the need to move in one spirit with all regular forces.
The popular resistance highlighted that its presence comes in response to the injustice and aggression directed against the Sudanese people, stressing that it does not belong to a party, sect or tribe, but rather exists to defend honor and land.
The popular resistance reviewed Burhan’s statements about arming it as an expression of the slogan “one army and one people”, a pillar in defending the soil of the homeland, expressing optimism for victory from God and the near conquest.
