Sudanese Interior Minister Major General Khalil Pasha Sayrin thanked Egypt for hosting large numbers of Sudanese refugees during the war.
- During his meeting with the Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan, Hani Salah Matana, Sudanese Interior Minister Major General Khalil Pasha Sayrin praised the distinguished relations between the two countries and stressed his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Egypt in all fields.
Ambassador Salah explained that the meeting discussed a number of topics and the outcomes of the visit of the President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council and the visit of the Minister of Interior in charge, noting that the meeting was characterized by transparency, especially with regard to facilitating travel procedures for Sudanese to Egypt.
