The Arab World News Agency (AWP), citing eyewitnesses, reported on Monday that the Sudanese army bombarded with heavy artillery and drones positions of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the capital Khartoum.

The witnesses said that the army bombed targets of the Rapid Support Forces in the Arab market area in central Khartoum, in addition to the neighborhoods of Jabra and the press surrounding the armored corps.

According to witnesses, thick plumes of smoke rose from the neighborhoods of Al-Azhari and Al-Nahda adjacent to the campgrounds and the Sports City of the Rapid Support Forces south of Khartoum, and smoke plumes were seen in the East Nile area of Khartoum North.

In Omdurman, which, along with Khartoum and Bahri, is the major capital, a cautious calm prevails as citizens continue to suffer due to water cuts for more than a week along with poor telecommunications and internet services.
