The Sudanese Armed Forces issued a statement in response to the audio recording of RSF commander Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (Hemedti) saying his forces had achieved victories in Omdurman and Babanusa in West Kordofan state.
The armed forces said the RSF speaks of fake and alleged victories at a time when its forces are receiving painful and sustained blows and defeats by the army in the areas it specifically mentioned and others.
The statement added that the audio recording of the RSF commander is a desperate attempt to raise the morale of what it described as collapsed and defeated militias.
The statement renewed the army’s pledge to continue vigorously to clear the entire territory of Sudan.
