The UN Security Council will meet on Wednesday to consider an International Court of Justice resolution calling on Israel on Friday to prevent any possible act of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the French presidency of the council announced.
The meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, comes at the request of Algeria in order to give binding force to the ruling of the International Court of Justice regarding the provisional measures imposed on Israel, the Algerian Foreign Ministry said.
