The President of the Libyan Olympic Committee, Dr. Jamal Al-Zarrouk, received on Tuesday the Russian Ambassador in Libya, Haidar Aganin, to discuss mutual cooperation with the aim of developing sports in Libya.
The Russian ambassador affirmed his country’s readiness to cooperate with the aim of developing sports in Libya, adopting distinguished athletes in various sports, paying attention to them, and establishing camps for them in Russia in preparation for their regional and international participations.
The Russian ambassador invited Libya to participate in an international course in Russia from June 11 to 24, with the participation of many European, African, and Asian countries.
The Libyan Olympic Committee welcomed this moral and logistical support, especially since it covers all sports.
