The head of the Libyan National Safety Authority, Othman Ibrahim Al-Meliqta, received on Monday the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Haidar Aganin, to discuss mutual cooperation in the fields of national safety.
The meeting touched on the development of bilateral relations with the aim of achieving mutual cooperation in the fields of national safety and training and discussed a number of topics and issues of common interest.
Al-Meliqta stressed his desire to work on preparing joint training programs in the fields of firefighting, rescue, evacuation, and ambulance operations to raise the efficiency of national elements in Libya.
At the end of the meeting, Al-Maliqta presented a shield as a souvenir to the Russian ambassador to Libya to express his happiness with this visit.
