The President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council and Army Commander, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, discussed with the Russian Ambassador, Andrey Chernovol, the latest developments in Sudan, in addition to areas of cooperation between the two countries.
The Russian embassy in Sudan said in a Facebook post that the meeting dealt with joint relations between Russia and Sudan in all fields.
Chernovol affirmed Russia’s determination to strengthen relations in all fields, and to develop prospects for joint cooperation with Sudan, expressing his hope that the aspirations of the people of Sudan to establish stability, security and peace will be realized.
In turn, Burhan stressed the importance of strengthening relations and developing prospects for cooperation between Russia and Sudan.
