The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), led by Abdulaziz al-Hilu, announced its agreement to meet with the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces (TAQADUM) to discuss the cessation of war in Sudan, after its forces took full control of Dilling, South Kordofan’s second largest city.
This comes with the escalation of battles between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces in the states of Khartoum, North Darfur and South Kordofan, which portends tension that increases the suffering of the Sudanese, especially in terms of the increasing number of displaced people, in the absence of a glimmer of hope in sight to end the war between the two parties to the conflict, which is about to complete its ninth month.
The Taqadam Coordination has issued calls to the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), the Sudanese Communist Party (SKP), the Baath Party (Baath) and the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) led by Abdul Wahid Nur as part of its efforts to mobilize political support to stop the war.
