Libyan Minister of Economy and Trade Mohamed Al-Huwaij expressed Libya’s desire to resume the work of the Libyan-Greek committee, hold its meetings within the framework of developing economic and investment relations, and work to stimulate trade movement between the two countries through the launch of a sea and air route.
During his meeting with Greek Ambassador Nichols Jar Ledeniz, Al-Huwaij stressed the importance of strengthening the role of the private sector, represented by the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and the Council of Business Owners in both countries to encourage the investment sector and economic development.
Al-Huwaij called for organizing a joint economic forum in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, to present and exchange expertise and experiences and present investment opportunities in the field of ports, fishing port equipment and sectors of common interest.
