The Libyan Investment Authority denied recent rumors about the injection of five billion dollars in the Arab Republic of Egypt, stressing that what has been circulated has no basis in truth.
The Foundation stressed that its investment situation in Egypt remains good, and that it strives to develop this situation in the future, within the framework of the good relations between the two brotherly countries, and in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples.
The Foundation’s media advisor, Loay El Qario, explained that the reports that have been circulated are just unfounded rumors, and that the Foundation’s current investment activity in Egypt is proceeding well.
Al-Qario concluded his remarks by stressing the Libyan Investment Authority’s keenness to strengthen economic and investment relations between Libya and Egypt, and to develop these relations to serve the interests of both countries and peoples.
